Air Fryer Lemon Garlic Fish Fillets

This might be the easiest “fancy” dinner you’ll ever make.

Delicate, flaky fish with lightly crisped edges, infused with bright lemon and rich garlic—this is the kind of simple dish that feels surprisingly elevated. As it cooks, the surface turns lightly golden while the inside stays soft, moist, and perfectly tender.

The lemon slices caramelize slightly on top, releasing a fresh citrus aroma that blends into the buttery garlic seasoning. Every bite is clean, zesty, and savory at the same time, with that melt-in-your-mouth texture that makes fish so satisfying when done right.

Light but still filling
Ready in under 15 minutes
Fresh, clean flavors with minimal effort

This is the kind of recipe you keep coming back to when you want something quick that still feels like a real meal.

What Goes In:

2 white fish fillets (tilapia, cod, or similar)
1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 lemon slices
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Let’s Make It:

Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels.
Mix olive oil (or butter), garlic, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Brush the mixture evenly over the fillets.
Place lemon slices on top of each piece.
Arrange fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 8–10 minutes, depending on thickness, until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
